Onion starts are the easiest way to ensure a bumper crop of onions! Plant in mid April-early May. Space some plants closer (1”) if you plan on harvesting spring onions and scallions, otherwise space at 3-4” to allow room for full bulb development. For best results plant in full sun and well draining soil.
